Your vision, my edit!

Hi! I’m Tiago, a video editor and photographer based in Portugal.

It started with Windows Movie Maker on an old Windows XP machine. I discovered that with the right cuts, the right sound and the right timing, you could take footage and make people feel something. I never really stopped chasing that.

Since then, I worked at a marketing agency, mostly handling corporate clients: video, copywriting, social media management. It taught me how to work with briefs, deadlines and business goals. A few years ago, I started freelancing more seriously, and I haven’t looked back.

Today, my work comes down to two things:

Short-form content: 180+ reels edited for brands and content creators. Sharp hooks, tight pacing, sound design and captions that keep people watching to the end.

Wedding films: 20+ weddings edited for videographers and studios. They shoot, I find the story hiding in hours of raw footage. Most of that work stays behind the scenes, but it’s where I learned that editing isn’t about cuts. It’s about storytelling.

Clients tell me two things most often: my edits only need a few tweaks before they’re ready, and the story always comes through. That’s the whole job, really.

I work in DaVinci Resolve, and I’m just as comfortable in Premiere Pro and After Effects, so I’ll fit into your workflow, not the other way around.
